Ronald Meisburg, general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, soon will be heading to Proskauer Rose.

Meisburg, whose term as general counsel expires in August, will join Proskauer as a partner in the firm’s labor & employment law department. He will practice in the firm’s D.C. and New York offices.

The Meisburg announcement comes on the heels of Proskauer’s recent addition of former New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chief Labor Negotiator and executive Gary Dellaverson as special counsel in the firm’s labor practice.

Meisburg has been the NLRB’s general counsel since 2006, and before that he was a member of the board. He is one of only four individuals to have served as both a board member and as the general counsel, and the only person to have received presidential nominations for both offices.

At the end of his term, Meisburg will become the third longest serving general counsel in the history of the NLRB. He began his career as a litigator in the Office of the Solicitor, U.S. Department of Labor.

Before joining the NLRB, Meisburg was a partner in the D.C. office of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, where he advised clients on issues arising under federal labor and employment law and collective bargaining agreements and represented clients in matters before federal labor and employment agencies, and federal trial and appellate courts.

“Ron has spent almost 25 years in private practice in addition to his distinguished NLRB service, giving him a unique background of experience and credibility with government agencies, the labor bar, unions and management,” said Paul Salvatore, co-chair of the labor & employment law department, in a statement. “We expect the Obama NLRB to play an activist role, making Ron’s addition invaluable in our ability to serve clients.”

Meisburg, in a statement, said, “My term is up in two months, and I really wanted to get back into private practice. Timing seemed optimum to make the move now, and Proskauer presented an absolutely wonderful opportunity for me.”

Proskauer Rose LLP is Corrupt in My Opinion, however anyone that can read would have the same opinion .. the Facts Speak for themselves..

Proskauer Rose LLP was involved in the Enron Collapse according to my understanding.. research it folks.. Proskauer Rose was involved in Madoff and Standfrod Scandals costing investors Billions... and Proskauer Rose's Corrupt Patent Department helped MPEG LA, Warner Bros. , Intel, AOL and more to Steal the Iviewit Technology that we all use today.. and yet Proskauer Rose LLP has folks like Ronald Meisburg wanting to move there? Hmmm. this can only mean to me that Ronald Meisburg must have connections to investors, judges, patent officers, attorneys that Proskauer Rose LLP needs and well boy will they Pay.. so we plan to keep an eye on Ronald Meisburg - Proskauer Rose LLP and to let ya know.. how it goes.. oh and of course I will be letting you know the history, skeletons and behind closed doors information on Ronald Meisburg that comes ...
