Laura Woodson, Alexander Wilson - Wedding Announcement Proskauer Rose Connections...

"" Laura Jane Woodson, the daughter of Sandra and Dwight Woodson of Eastham, Mass., was married Saturday evening to Alexander Joshua Wilson, the son of Christine and Howard Wilson of New York. The Rev. Megan M. Kelly, a Unitarian Universalist minister, officiated at the Captain Linnell House, a restaurant in Orleans, Mass.

The bride, 33, will continue to use her name professionally. She is the director of global online marketing programs for Estée Lauder in New York. She graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., and received a master’s degree in media management from the University of Stirling in Scotland.

Ms. Woodson’s father retired as the general manager for waterfront development at thePort Authority of New York and New Jersey. Her mother, also retired, was a guidance counselor at Tenafly Middle School in Tenafly, N.J.

The bridegroom, 29, is an associate at the New York law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He graduated from Dartmouth and received his law degree from Columbia.
His mother is an executive coach in New York and a trustee of the Creative Center, a New York organization providing cultural opportunities for cancer patients.

His father is a partner in the New York law firm Proskauer Rose. From 1994 to 1996, the bridegroom’s father was the commissioner of the New York Department of Investigation, and from 1996 to 2002, the chairman of the city’s School Construction Authority. ""
